And the teasing didn't end there, mirth filled eyes as he watches you 'run away' before he loudly announces to the near empty diner.

"Haah? Just gonna leave without paying?" As if he wasn't the one that swatted your hand from grabbing your purse on the way out of the house.

Squeezing your thigh as if to say he loves you or that he'll be back before he shifts, grabbing at his phone to play a soft melancholy song before his warm palm is back to kissing your skin.

He's singing already, looking left then right at a stop sign as a thought pops into your head.

"Will you play the up like moon out like the hounds song!" But he says nothing, locks eyes with you for a moment as Sleep Token continues softly through the speakers. Pulling away from the stop sign as his deep, pitch perfect voice carries in the cabin of the car. The song switches tempo and it is then you recognize the song he's playing, glancing at you as long as he can. Cannot help the smile on his lips from how your pretty face lights up.

Cupping your jaw gently as he sings a little louder the part you like.

"Up like the moon and out like the hounds."

Moving away to shift again before his hand is quick to find your chin again, cupping tightly as he sings with that intensity you love about him.

"You've got your hooks in me."

Pulling into the drive way, throwing the car in park as he timed the song to perfectly so that he can look deeply into your eyes for the next lyric.

"When I open my eyes to the future, I can hear you say my name."

After that he leans in, squeezing your cheeks to part your mouth so that his tongue can invade. Can explore and taste, to devour as he sees fit. Car idling loudly as the song lolls to an end before the next plays but his hand cups the back of your skull to deepen the kiss. To gnash his teeth against yours as he swallows your small sounds, as he tries to encourage more before he finally pulls away after the next song ends. Looking into your eyes deeply one more time before he hits your seat belt release and then his own. Killing the car as he nods it's time to go in, exiting the car and rounding the back to head to the front door. Stopping to wait a few steps away from the car for you.

But you sit for a long moment, still reeling over the kiss as if you haven't been with him for over a decade. Waiting for him to open the door like he did at the diner and it takes him a second to catch on before he walks back to the car. Talking his shit before he even has the door all the way open.

"No fuckin way ya waited for me to open this door." Still his free hand was outstretched, palm up, ready to steady you if you need it. You take it, smiling devilishly as he teasingly yanks you once you're on your feet.

"Yea actually I did."

"Such a fuckin brat."
